As I was using a curling iron this morning to remove the kinks and cowlicks in my hair it struck me. That if only I'd had one of these in high school I coulda had the long straight Cher hair I aspired to, rather then the long hair with the occasional wacky wave curl and cowlick I had. Farrah Fawcett

A perfect fall day

Temps above 70. No wind. Sunshine. So spent the day sitting outside reading and finishing my cardigan. The best of days.

Once a sports mom

Always a sports mom. Went to see dd2 yesterday. Had the opportunity to watch. Her inter mural softball game. Fun. After years of competitive sport this truly was just for fun.

The dog made the trip too. As you can see from his position on the drive home. It was exhausting having to hang out for some time alone in a strange place.

Woke up this morning to see the neighbors have begun covering their shrubs at night. Brrrr!

Netflix = knitting

Watched three episodes of Vera on Netflix last night.

So far so good. The pattern and the yarn seem to be a good fit. Since I'm using 8s it is going at a good clip. No I didn't mow the yard or get anything else done today. Thank you for pointing that out. Since the pattern is sized sm/med. I took a leap of faith that it will fit. Since my yarn only had weight not yardage I took a leap of faith that there would be enough.
