Another project finished
The second sock. Next pair I will be trying two at a time. I will still just do the pattern on the cuff.

Because I just don't have enough projects
I felt the need to start a Wingspan shawl. I tried two different yarns from stash , neither worked. Rather then take that as a sign that I should finish a WIP I took it as a sign that I should use my 50% off coupon from Joann's and buy more yarn. I followed kuna13's lead and bought a skein of breeze. Think it will work just fine! I think I'll be humming "summer breeze" while I knit

Golfing companions
Just across the pond on Monday. A good place for a nap. Just another reason why I don't worry about getting balls out of the water when I golf in FL.

There's an app for that
I should have known when I couldn't figure out how to get photos directly from my iPad or iPhone to blog that there would be an app. Same blog site only via an app.
Also downloaded the app. Who's your caddy. Not sure how effective it will be for me but couldn't resist the name

Flowers, cranes, and FO's
The magnolia tree that was infected with scales last year is cured and blooming.
The gardenia that was yellowing and dropping leaves last month has rebounded and bloomed.
The cast aluminum cranes from COSTCO are installed and lovely!
My sweater is finished!
It fits!
And I finished a scarf. It is really pretty. Now it just needs a home, because it was a process knit vs. a functional one.

Ducks
This morning as I sat on the porch reading the paper I noticed a mallard standing under the sprinklers in our neighbors yard. He just stood there and enjoyed the spray until the sprinkler finished. Then he waddled off. What a nice way to start the morning.
